The ZMYND11/CCP10 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human ZMYND11 gene located on chromosome band 10p15.3, along with the number of chromosome 10 copies per cell. Defects in ZMYND11 – also known as BS69, BRAM1 or MRD30 – are associated with autism spectrum disorder, ovarian cancer, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), prostate cancer and other malignancies.

The probe is labeled with CytoOrange and CytoGreen. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551 nm and emission peak at 575 nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495 nm and emission peak at 518 nm, giving it an green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
