The CHD5/S100A10 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect rearrangements involving the human CHD5 and S100A10 genes located on chromosome bands 1p36.31 and 1q21.3, respectively. Abnormal expression of the CHD5 gene – also known as CHD-5, DKFZp434N231 or KIAA0444 - has been observed in neuroblastoma, gliomas, melanoma, ovarian, colorectal, gastric, prostate, breast, lung and other cancers. The S100A10 gene – also called 42C, P11, p10, GP11, ANX2L, CAL1L, CLP11, Ca[1] or ANX2LG – has been shown to be over-expressed in various cancers and some depressive disorders.
