The ZBTB16/CCP11 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human ZBTB16 gene located on chromosome band 11q23.2, along with the number of chromosome 11 copies per cell. Rearrangements and abnormal expression of the ZBTB16 gene – also known as PLZF or ZNF145 – have been reported in acute promyelocytic leukemia and other neoplasias.

The probe is labeled with CytoOrange and CytoGreen. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551nm and emission peak at 575nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495nm and emission peak at 518nm, giving it an green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
