The CKS1B/CCP1 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human CKS1B gene located on chromosome band 1q21.3 along with the number of chromosome 1 copies per cell.* Abnormal expression of the CKS1B gene – also named CKS1, ckshs1, PNAS-16 or PNAS-18 – has been observed in multiple cancer types, including breast cancer, lymphomas, myeloma, colon, prostate, lung, kidney and numerous other tumor types.

The probe is labeled with CytoOrange and CytoGreen. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551 nm and emission peak at 575 nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495 nm and emission peak at 518 nm, giving it an green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
