The CCP15,16,22 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human chromosomes 15, 16 and 22. Next to defects in chromosomes 21, 13, 14, and involving the sex chromosomes, anomalies of chromosomes 15, 16, 22 are among the most commonly found aberrations during pregnancy and in preimplantation genetic diagnosis or screening. Trisomies, monosomies and other abnormalities of chromosomes 15, 16, 22 are also associated with miscarriages and have been observed in spontaneous abortions.

The probe is labeled with CytoOrange, CytoGreen and CytoAqua. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551 nm and emission peak at 575 nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495 nm and emission peak at 518 nm, giving it a green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoAqua has an excitation peak at 422 nm and emission peak 471 nm, giving it an aqua fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
